The House:  Coastal Home, West Coast BC

Duration:  4 Weeks

Well this was no ordinary house or pet sit.

While watching the owners house while they were travelling back to China, this little baby fawn showed up and without any fear of coming up to me.  This was my first experience with an interaction like this.   I checked everywhere for the mom but with no success.  Called the wild life association for advice.  Tucked the baby into the field and checked on her every four hours when I could.  It took almost 3 days before Mother came back and collected her baby.

It surely was an experience and a happy ending for all.

• House duties, cutting grass, tending to mail, keeping house clean.

• General Security, ensured to unwanted visitors.

• Ran errands on occasion for the owner
